The terms "Lycra" and "Spandex" refer to the same elastic fiber. Lycra is Dupont's trade name for Spandex. It is commonly used to refer to many stretch knits containing Spandex. The knits in this swatch set stretch in all directions.

Cotton Modal Solids: Great weight for active wear, T-shirts, shorts, skirts, dresses....

Modal is a cellulose fiber similar to rayon. 50% more water-absorbent cotton, very smooth and soft. Can be dyed like cotton and is color-fast when washed in warm water. Resistant to shrinkage and fading.
